This social group is for young adults moving into adulthood. Recreational activities are a key component of the program.

Our Young Adult Social Group is right for you if:

  • you have a diagnosis of autism;
  • you have moderate to low support needs;
  • have an interest in socializing with peers
  • are capable of day-to day self-care; and
  • want to take part in group and recreational activities

The focus of our Young Adult Social Group is to:

  • build social networks;
  • build independence; and
  • learn life skills

WHERE

Where is the Young Adult (Virtual) Social Group located?

Currently, the virtual group is delivered via confidential and secure video conferencing (Zoom Healthcare)

 

WHEN

When does this Young Adult Social Group take place?

Two Mondays a month from 4 pm – 6 pm

WHAT

What does the Young Adult Social Group cost?

The cost for our Young Adult (Virtual) Social Group is $10 a month.

There is regular communication between counsellors and parents.
