Linking Youth and Families

What is Linking Youth and Families?

This program is a partnership between Woodview and the Halton Children’s Aid Society. Outreach services are provided to families where there is a high degree of conflict between a teen and their parents such that the Children’s Aid Society may need to become involved. It is also for families who are already involved with the CAS and are at risk of their teen being placed outside of the home due to the conflict. The staff works with families to set attainable goals and find solutions. Services are usually provided in the family home. Staff will help families to identify and connect with additional supports where needed.
