The Social and Recreational programs are designed to encourage and create opportunities for physical, social and mental well being for our participant.

The adult social and recreational programs are right for you if:
The focus of the Adult Social and Recreational Programs is to foster social relationships through recreation, fitness and life skills teaching.
A number of different social and recreational programs are offered to meet the needs and interests of participants
a. Transition to Adulthood Group – a social and recreational group designed to connect individuals making the move into adulthood.
b. Fitness – ever changing and fun approach to a weekly workout.
c. After Hours Club – evening social group involving dinner and a variety of recreational activities.
d. Sports – seasonally inspired sports program centred around team work and good sportsmanship.
e. Alternative to Sports – a more individualized approach to sports and fitness for those less active who want to get moving.
f. Swimming Club – group trips to the local pool for fitness and leisure.
g. Breakfast Club – getting together to enjoy the most important meal of the day.
h. Cooking Club – prepare and eat a meal in a group setting, with leftovers to take home!
These programs run at various community locations in Hamilton and at two Woodview locations.

Groups run almost every day of the week for the majority of the year. Seasonal breaks may occur depending on the program.
The majority of this program is subsidized. Additional costs are program specific and will be discussed upon referral.

When there is an opening in the social group(s) on your list, someone from Woodview will contact you. At that time, they will give you a start date.
