What is the focus of Toileting Foundations?

Each session builds on the previous one, covering key toileting foundations such as:

Preparing your child and home environment
Teaching core toileting skills
Using reinforcement and prompting strategies
Troubleshooting common challenges
Building independence and long-term success

Who can participate in Toileting Foundations?

Children/youth (ages 3 to 18) must be medically cleared for toileting (no medical reasons for incontinence) and do not display high-risk behaviours (e.g., aggression, self-injury, or elopement) in the home environment.
