5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
This workshop will help parents understand the functions of behavior and how they play a role in their family’s every day life. Identifying what happens before and after behaviour is a key part of understanding your child’s interactions with the world around them. We will provide information about the antecedents, behaviors, and consequences (ABC) strategy used in the application of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Lastly, we will help participants understand strategies that may be useful with behaviors observed in the home. This workshop will be 60 minutes in length with time allotted for questions.
