What is the Young Adult Social Group?

This social group is for young adults moving into adulthood. Recreational activities are a key component of the program.

Is the
Young Adult Social Group
right for you?

Our Young Adult Social Group is right for you if:

  • you have autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and / or other neurodivergencies;
  • you have moderate to low support needs;
  • have an interest in socializing with peers
  • are capable of day-to day self-care; and
  • want to take part in group and recreational activities

What is the focus of the Young Adult Social Group?

The focus of our Young Adult Social Group is to:

  • build social networks;
  • build independence; and
  • learn life skills

What happens next?

The Program Coordinator will contact you.
If the Young Adult Social Group is a good fit for you, the next step is to pay the registration fee.
You will then get a package of information about the program. The program start date will be included in this information.

Schedule

The Young Adult Social Group takes place twice a month from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

There is regular communication between counsellors and parents.
