Celebrating Our Inaugural Walk & Roll for Woodview

On October 1, 2025, families, friends, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners came together for the inaugural Walk & Roll for Woodview at the Ancaster Fairgrounds. It was a day filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit—all in support of children, youth, adults, and families accessing Woodview’s mental health, autism, and developmental services.

Together, we raised more than $37,000 to help strengthen programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of thousands of individuals across our communities. While fundraising was an important part of the day, what stood out most was the incredible sense of belonging created when people came together for a common purpose.

Event Highlights

From the moment participants arrived, the fairgrounds were buzzing with energy. Families walked and rolled together through the accessible route before enjoying an afternoon of entertainment and activities for all ages.

Some of the day’s highlights included:

  • Hundreds of participants supporting Woodview together
  • Live performances by Amy Lin Trio and Camo Tangerine
  • A Family Fair featuring games, inflatables, face painting, a petting zoo, food, and community vendors
  • A welcoming environment where people of all ages and abilities could participate
  • Dozens of dedicated volunteers who helped make the day a success

Whether someone came to walk, volunteer, cheer on a loved one, or simply enjoy the festivities, every person helped create an event that reflected the welcoming and inclusive spirit of Woodview.

By the Numbers

  • More than $37,000 raised
  • Approximately 350 participants
  • More than 75 volunteers
  • Dozens of sponsors, donors, and community partners

Every registration, donation, sponsorship, volunteer shift, and shared social media post helped make an impact.
