Behaviour Analysts in Ontario Now Regulated Under CPBAO
October 16, 2024
By Ashley Silva, Program Manager, Halton Autism Services
Ontario has been working hard to regulate Behaviour Analysts, and now, as of July 1, 2024, we’re thrilled to celebrate a historic milestone! Behaviour Analysts in Ontario are now regulated under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO), thanks to the efforts of the Province of Ontario and the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services. This means Behaviour Analysts must now be registered with the CPBAO to officially hold the title.
The CPBAO continues to uphold rigorous standards for new Behaviour Analysts, including supervised experience and a written exam. This is a major step in recognizing ABA as a regulated health profession in Ontario, and it opens up even more opportunities to support Autism Services.
Meet Woodview’s RBA’s!
Woodview is incredibly proud of our team of Board Certified Behaviour Analysts, now officially recognized as Registered Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (RBA, Ont).
