Strategic Plan 2025 - 2028

We’re pleased to announce that we have a new Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2028!  Our strategic planning was a comprehensive process that engaged many clients and families, staff, community partners, funders, and our board of directors.

Our new strategic priorities are three bold and interconnected commitments that will guide our work and strengthen our impact as a mental health, autism, and developmental services provider. Our priorities are reflective of the current environment and emphasize our commitment to the individuals and families served, our staff, our community, and the overall health of our organization.

Seamless, Connected Supports & Services

We will strengthen and unify Woodview by actively connecting teams, aligning programs and streamlining processes across service regions. Our focus is to make it easier for individuals, including adults and families, to access the right supports when, where and how they need them, in ways that are culturally safe, inclusive and responsive. From the first point of contact through every stage of service, we will remove barriers and enhance clarity, ensuring each journey is simple, supportive, and empowering. Our commitment is clear: to deliver a care experience that is seamless, person-centered, and built on trust.

We will:

  • Expand and personalize services, guided by client and family feedback, to deliver flexible and inclusive programs that adapt to evolving needs.
  • Strengthen communication and collaboration so that staff, families, and partners have clear, timely, and coordinated information.
  • Enhance service experience through technology, enhanced security protocols, and standardized processes to simplify workflows and ensure consistent, seamless care.

Fostering a Thriving Workplace

We are committed to continuing to build a thriving workplace where every staff feels valued, supported, and equipped to succeed. Through open communication, inclusive practices, ongoing professional growth, and wellness supports, we will create a culture where staff can bring their best selves to work each day and grow personally and professionally. Together, we will strengthen our teams and amplify our collective impact on the children, youth, adults, and families we serve.

We will:

  • Promote a healthy and balanced workplace culture that enables staff to contribute their best selves.
  • Strengthen unity and belonging through collaboration and shared accountability across staff teams, services, and regions.
  • Build the capacity of all employees by supporting staff in their growth and equipping leaders to guide, coach, and inspire their teams.

Building for a Sustainable Financial Future

We will enhance Woodview’s ability to grow and adapt by investing in financial resilience, greater integration of technology and artificial intelligence, and innovative approaches. By optimizing our fee-for-service offerings, unlocking operational efficiencies, and expanding fundraising, we will secure the resources needed to support our mission, the children, youth, adults, and families we serve, as well as our staff and communities both today and into the future.

We will:

  • Grow and diversify revenue through focused fundraising and innovative fee-for-service approaches that expands financial independence and responds to client and community priorities.
  • Streamline and modernize financial and administrative processes by leveraging technology.
  • Strengthen long-term sustainability through capital development, partnerships, and initiatives that build financial resilience and expand service capacity.
