What is S.M.I.L.E.?

S.M.I.L.E. is a transition to adulthood group for young adults between the ages of 18 to 23 with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The program focuses on meeting friends and gaining independence by learning new skills including:

  • Social skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Recreation skills
  • Budgeting/money skills
  • Grocery shopping, cooking and kitchen safety
  • Using public transit
